Rehmat Masih 68 years old Christian Persecuted in Kasur Pakistan
Kasur: On January 23, Monday, 7 am, Rehmat Masih 68 years old christian his daughter Sajida and grand daughter were sleeping at their home, they woke up do to their house was on fire by unknown fanatics wanted to Gab the Property.
Rehmat Masih also revealed that on October 16, 2016; unknown men had sexually assaulted his daughter Sajida. The incident was reported to the local police station but the case was not registered.
We Mr Azam Sahotra,,Frayad Anyat From PECA and Kashif Alexander approached the victimized family and started investigating into the incident. After scrutinizing, Investigating that on November 16, 2016; a man identified as M. Bashrat son of M. Din forced Rehmat Masih to sale the land to them. RehmatMasih was not willing to comply with the demands of Basharat. Consequently, Basharat started harassing and hurling threats at Rehmat Masih.,they had already bought the land from Rehmat Masih’s nephew. The land under dispute covers 8 marlas, the report reveals. Followed by investigations we approached local police authorities and came to know that First Information Report (FIR) is registered.
That the alleged perpetrator Basharat had already fled and was hiding; however the police has arrested his brother. Moreover, Police has also recorded the statement of Sajida victim of sexual assault,Pray that justice will be served in this case.
