 A Conference on Defending religious freedom was held at Colombo Srilanka from 17th to 20th July 2018 (South Asian legal consultation ), lawyers defending human rights from South Asian countries participated in the conference, detailed discussion on the law affecting human rights and practical steps to decrease their negative effects.





 

The South Asian Legal Consultation on Defending Religious Freedom took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from July 17th to 20th, 2018. The conference brought together lawyers from across South Asia who are committed to defending human rights. During the event, participants engaged in detailed discussions about the laws that affect human rights, particularly those related to religious freedoms. The focus of the sessions was on identifying the negative impacts of these laws and exploring practical steps that could be taken to reduce their harmful effects.
