Collaborative Lobbying Leads to Promising Assurances for Minority Rights in Punjab by Inspector General Punjab

A distinguished delegation comprising Mr. Mahinder Paul Singh, Member of the Punjab Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary; Mr. Robinson Aziz, Vice-Chairman of the Minority Advisory Council Punjab; Mr. Kashif Alexander, Advocate High Court and Chairman of The Miracle and Hope Foundation Pakistan; Mr. Kashif Nemat, Advocate High Court; and Mr. Kamran Pervaiz CH, Member of the Narcotics Control Committee Punjab, recently held a meeting with Mr. Inam Ghani, Inspector General of Police Punjab.

The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing challenges faced by minority communities in Punjab. During the session, IGP Inam Ghani expressed his unwavering commitment to upholding minority rights, assuring the delegation of full cooperation. He emphasized the enforcement of superior court judgments related to minority issues and affirmed that concrete, proactive steps would be taken in coordination with the relevant departments to safeguard the rights and well-being of minorities across the province.
