Kashif Alexander, the Chairman of The Miracle and Hope Foundation, alongside his mentor, Mr Tasswar Hussian Qureshi, Senior Advocate Supreme Court and esteemed colleagues from the legal profession, engaged in a profound discussion on the independence of the judiciary and the implementation of law. As a human rights and social rights activist, Kashif Alexander emphasized the critical importance of an unbiased and independent judicial system in upholding justice and protecting the rights of all citizens, particularly vulnerable communities. The conversation also highlighted the need for effective law enforcement and the role of the judiciary in ensuring that legal protections are properly implemented to safeguard individual rights and promote social justice.





Kashif Alexander Leads Legal Reform Initiative in Punjab Bar Council

Kashif Alexander Advocate High court President Christian Lawyers Association in Pakistan and Chairman The Miracle and Hope Foundation Pakistan on 28-08-2020 presented resolution at Punjab Bar Council for Allocation of Minority seat at Punjab Bar Council through amendment in Legal Practitioner and Bar Council Act 1973, Mr Malik Sarood Advocate, Mr Aga Faisal Advocate, Madam Bushra Qamer Advocate, Mr Abdul Samad Basria Advocate, Mr. Rana Inazar Advocate all Member Punjab bar Council recommended the resolution and Mr Jameel Asgher Bhatti Chairman Executive Committee Punjab bar Council received the resolution and assured its implementation. Kashif Alexander, president Clap and other members Clap presented Shields on behalf of Clap and the Punjab bar also presented Appreciation Awards to Kashif Alexander, President of Clap and others.

Spreading Hope: Legal and Spiritual Leaders Collaborate on Isaac TV

On November 21, 2018, a delegation of Christian lawyers, led by Mr. Kashif Alexander, Advocate High Court and Chairman of The Miracle and Hope Foundation Pakistan, met with Senior Pastor Anwer Fazal. The meeting took place during their participation in the “Winning Soul” program on Isaac TV, a platform dedicated to sharing messages of faith and spiritual empowerment. The visit was a meaningful expression of unity among Christian leaders in Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of faith-based advocacy and the role of legal professionals in supporting and uplifting the Christian community. Judicial and Civic Leaders Join Hands to Strengthen Healthcare and Hope

 

On November 18, 2018, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Saqib Nisar, accompanied by Mr. Justice Ijaz ul Hassan, paid a meaningful visit to the United Christian Hospital. The occasion was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Kashif Alexander, Advocate High Court, Chairman of The Miracle and Hope Foundation, and Member of the Board of Directors of United Christian Hospital; Mr. Ijaz Augustine, Punjab Minister for Human Rights; Ms. Shunila Ruth, Member of the National Assembly; and Mr. Anthony Ajiaz Lamuel, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Pakistan, among other notable figures.

To make a memorable visit, the honored guests participated in a tree-planting ceremony, symbolizing growth, unity, and the enduring legacy of their commitment to community well-being. The event underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening healthcare services and reinforcing bonds within the community

On November 5, 2018, a significant meeting took place in Gujranwala, Pakistan, attended by pastors, elders, and executive members of the Presbyterian Church, along with key figures such as Mr. Kashif Alexander (Advocate High Court), Mr. Imran Titus Bhatti (Administrator, United Christian Hospital Lahore), and Mr. Kamran Khalil (Chairman, Punjab National Committee for Peace, Interfaith, and Harmony - NCPIH). The meeting focused on discussing the current situation of human rights and the challenges faced by the Church in Pakistan. During the session, the attendees shared insights into the ongoing struggles of religious minorities, particularly the Christian community, and explored ways to address these issues effectively. Visit of Ruki Fernandez from Srilanka Reported by Imran Christ


On 12th October 2018, Mr. Ruki Fernandez, a renowned Human Rights Defender from Sri Lanka, visited Pakistan and had a meeting with Mr. Kashif Alexander, Advocate High Court and Chairman of The Miracle and Hope Foundation. During their discussion, they focused on the current human rights situation in Pakistan, addressing various violations and exploring potential legal measures that could be taken to improve the situation.

After their brief meeting, Mr. Ruki Fernandez accompanied Mr. Kashif Alexander to the United Christian Hospital, where they met Mr. Imran Titus Bhatti, the Administrator of the hospital. This visit provided an opportunity to discuss both human rights concerns and healthcare challenges, further emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing issues related to human rights and social well-being in Pakistan.

 A Conference on Defending religious freedom was held at Colombo Srilanka from 17th to 20th July 2018 (South Asian legal consultation ), lawyers defending human rights from South Asian countries participated in the conference, detailed discussion on the law affecting human rights and practical steps to decrease their negative effects.





 

The South Asian Legal Consultation on Defending Religious Freedom took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from July 17th to 20th, 2018. The conference brought together lawyers from across South Asia who are committed to defending human rights. During the event, participants engaged in detailed discussions about the laws that affect human rights, particularly those related to religious freedoms. The focus of the sessions was on identifying the negative impacts of these laws and exploring practical steps that could be taken to reduce their harmful effects. The conference served as a platform for sharing knowledge and strategies to better protect human rights and promote religious freedom in the region.
